Coming from a TinyCartridge interview with Damon Baker, Nintendo’s senior manager of licensing marketing...

“[It’s] been a lot of hard work but we’ve known the folks at Humble for ages, and it seemed like the right time finally get a collaboration over the line. They have so much knowledge in working with so many different content providers and charity organizations that it has felt more like a partnership than any sort of promotional program. (Nintendo and Humble Bundle) put a range of content together that not only showcases digital highlights for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, but would also be appealing to as wide an audience as possible.”

On whether we'll see more games for Wii U/3DS that could be purchased through the Humble Bundle

”We don’t have anything to announce at this time, but who knows what might happen moving forward!”

On pricing

“In the end, we were confident that the savvy Humble community would see the value of what is being offered and would choose an appropriate price on their own. I hope this doesn’t sound cheesy, but we trust our fans to see the promotion for what it is. These Nindies deserve all the attention as they’ve put their blood, sweat and tears into creating amazing games and experiences and we encourage everyone to go out there and support them along with the fantastic Code.org.”
