Macronix providing memory products for NX, report claims launch in 2016
It has been confirmed by Macronix's president Dr. CY Lu that the company is working with Nintendo on the NX. It seems that Macronix is going to be working on memory products for NX. We do not know the details as to just what Macronix is working on, but their involvement in NX shouldn't be too much of a surprise. The same company was involved with some internal workings of the Wii U.
One other report coming from this announcement indicates that the NX is going to come out this year. This isn't the first time we've heard this statement, but nothing is official until Nintendo comments.
