Nintendo creates special Splatoon/Squid Girl artwork honoring Squid Girl's manga ending
Masahiro Anbe is the creator of Squid Girl, which has seen both anime and manga adaptations. Mr. Anbe is also a huge fan of Splatoon, which has lead to some collaborations between Nintendo and Mr. Anbe. Today Nintendo recognizes an important milestone for Squid Girl with the special artwork above. The image celebrates the final installment of the Squid Girl manga, which is ending its Weekly Shounen Champion run after 9 years.
