RUMOR: Beyond Good and Evil 2 being funded by Nintendo, exclusive to NX

This is certainly interesting news!

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced way back in 2008, and ever since then it's pretty much been in limbo. Every year it's brought up, and every year we get an answer that it's not cancelled, but there's still very little information regarding the follow up to the 2003 cult classic.

Destructoid, however, has a interesting new piece of news, though at this point it's only a rumor. They claim that Nintendo has pulled something similar to Bayonetta 2, getting exclusive rights to a third party game. They claim that Nintendo has secured the title for a 2017 release date for the NX. 

The working title of the game, according to the source, is Beyond Good and Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers, which is based on a philosophical text Beyond Good and Evil by noted author and philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. 

Of course, this is all rumor. But Destructoid's source has been right before (Geno has revealed new Pokemon forms in the past) so there might be something here. Very interesting, regardless!
