Pokemon Sun/Moon - 3D slider only works with Poke Finder mode

GN Version 5.0

Looks like you won't be getting much 3D action in Pokemon Sun/Moon. The only time you're going to be able to use the 3D Slider is during the Poke Finder mode. Other than that, Pokemon Sun/Moon is a strictly 2D affair. This leads me to ask, how many of you actually still use 3D? I know I do, but I feel like I'm in the minority!
