A look at the only North American Sky Skipper arcade cabinet

Sky Skipper was an arcade cabinet that Nintendo of America tested after the launch of Donkey Kong. The reception wasn't all that great, so the prototype cabinet seen above was put into storage and never released into the public. Believe it or not, the pic above is how the cabinet looks right now, having been kept in pristine condition in Nintendo of America's headquarters. Now a group of fans are trying their best to bring the game back by creating their own arcade cabinet, which is aiming to be 100% faithful to the official prototype seen above.
