RUMOR - Nickelodeon making a video game animation series, fingers point to Nintendo

Fred Seibert of Frederator Studios (Adventure Time, Fairly Oddparents) mentions here that they are working on a new show. This project is related to ''one of the most world famous video games of the last 30 years'', which is remarkable in its own right. Nintendo fits the description here and they have shown renewed interest in both movies and TV shows. Until proven otherwise however, we are going to have to mark this down as a rumor.
