Nintendo Switch event live blog

- joycon color variations: neon blue, neon red and wrist straps
- right joycon has a motion IR camera that reads distance and hand gestures, using HD rumble
- New game by Nintendo called 1, 2 Switch, for two-player action focusing on HD rumble, due out March 3rd
- Arms is a fighting sports game where characters have very long arms, and you thrown/shoot your arms at your opponent. Hold one joycon in each hand. Online battle. Due out this Spring.
- Splatoon 2 coming to Switch. New weapons, stages, designs. Use Pro controller if you want. Use IR mode for gyro controls. Due out this Summer, weapons/stage updates after launch with in-game events as well.
- Super Mario Odyssey coming to Switch, and now Mario's hat is alive and can be tossed around, and used to jump off of. Due out this Holiday season.
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2 announced for Switch
- Fire Emblem Warriors game coming to Switch
- currently over 50 third parties working on Switch games, 80 games in development so far.
- Dragon Quest Heroes I & 2 coming to Switch as one game
- Square-Enix bringing Project Octopath Traveler to Switch
- Shin Megami Tensei Switch in the works, development has only just begun
- Skyrim coming to the Switch
- Suda51 is bringing No More Heroes' Travis Touchdown to Switch in a new game
- FIFA coming to Switch
- Minecraft coming to Switch, as well as Minecraft Story Mode
- Switch includes the console, left and right joycon, joycon wrist straps, joycon grip, switch dock, HDMI cable, and CD adapter
- Pro Controller available separately, two versions, one model with grey colors, and one with neon blue/red, both versions same price
