Dragon Quest X to launch for Switch this summer in Japan, Wii service ending

According to Gematsu, the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest X is planned to be released this summer in Japan. Additionally, Square Enix has also announced that their service for the Wii version of the game will be closing, as they want to be able to update the game to levels that were not possible on the Wii. The Wii version of the game will end at Version 3. However, Square Enix also stated that they were working on a campaign that will allow Wii users to easily migrate to the Switch version. This campaign will be explained in further detail at a later date.
