SteamWorld Dig 2 runs on a custom engine, ported to Switch in a few days

Here's another tidbit of info that points to how easy a time developers are having with the Switch. We already know that SteamWorld Dig 2 is coming to Switch, but it seems that Image and Form have had a really easy time getting the game up-and-running on the platform. They're obviously developing on PC, and have revealed that the game uses a custom engine. Furthermore, this engine was good-to-go on Switch in just a few days. While Nintendo is touting the ease of porting with Unreal Engine and Unity, it seems devs going their own route are also having some big success.
