Fans are making/selling their own amiibo cards

What do you do when you can't find that one amiibo you're looking for? Rather than keep an ever-watchful eye on store stock, people are turning to the world of fan-made amiibo cards. A number of Nintendo fans out there have turned to making their own amiibo cards, which feature the same data you'd find on official amiibo from Nintendo. Furthermore, fans are selling these amiibo cards on auction sites like eBay, and they're fetching a pretty penny. Nintendo hasn't commented on this underground market, but we're going to guess they're not too keen on it.
