Bubble Bobble 4 Friends to get a free content update featuring new stages, returning characters, and more

Taito has announced that in the near future, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will get a free content update. They haven't shared all details on what to expect, but did tease some things to come. Check out the details below.

All gamers worldwide will be excited to know that those who purchase the game will be able to download later in the year new must-have content, for free, and that includes all European or Australian Nintendo gamers.

Taito are currently developing and expanding the game’s content to deliver everything fans wish for, including new stages and the return of a fan favorite enemy character – ‘Baron von Blubba’.

More news on this, and additional upcoming features, will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.

As the Bubble Bobble IP is something very dear to Taito, they listened closely to the feedback they were given so far.
