Franchise:
- Rule 5 eligible players on user-controlled team(s) will now be selected for Rule 5 Draft if not protected when setting a 40-man roster. Player cards will reflect Rule 5 draft eligibility.
Stadium Creator:
- Fixed a bug that allowed incorrect placement of the batter’s eye on the field.
- Various bug fixes to Future City stadium props.
Storylines:
- Derek Jeter Storylines side missions will now grant the proper rewards.
Custom Leagues:
- Fixed a bug that would cause an invalid roster error when attempting to randomize a winner.

Clever Endeavour Games has announced a free update for Ultimate Chicken Horse. Dubbed as the “Pandamonium” update, it will include a new Panda character, four skins, two outfits, two levels, and three music tracks. The update will be released for all supported platforms, including Nintendo Switch, on May 13th, 2024.
The Pandamonium Update adds:
- 1 new character: Panda
- 4 new skins: Brown Bear, Polar Bear, Black Bear, and Blue Bear
- 2 new levels: Islands and Toxic Tower
- 2 new outfits: Mail carrier and Viking
- 3 music tracks: Island Buddies, The Kraken, Toxic Tower
- Improvements and bug fixes
A new patch has been announced for Guardian Tales on Nintendo Switch. The patch will be available on May 14th, 2024, and will include new content and events for the action role-playing game.

New Additions & Changes
- Added a function to display a dialog when the first thumbnail is empty in the World upload settings.
- The playtime displayed in World Details will now display down to the second.
- Changed so that the room master will not leave the room if they block a player.
- The message display command in the Event Editor has been changed so that the following message will be executed even if the menu is open: Speech Bubble, Tips, Hint: Solved, and Pop Up.
Bugs Fixed
- Fixed an issue in the World Details ranking where the points would overlap the player name when the player name was long.
- Fixed the following bugs that occurred when playing with a gamepad:
- Fixed an issue where the world could not be selected on the world search screen.
- Fixed a bug where the Build option settings would change if the player input the left stick while holding down the LT button.
- Fixed an issue where the World List could not be scrolled vertically in some environments.
- Fixed an issue where only 10 favorite Skins were displayed; now up to 1000 favorite Skins can be displayed.
- Fixed an issue where, when certain operations were performed while the following Mode Items were equipped, an error would occur and all players connected to the same World would be kicked out: Horse Mode, Pig Mode, Cow Mode, Ostrich Mode, Boat Mode, and Minecart Mode.
- Fixed an issue where players could die automatically when performing certain operations while operating a submarine.
- Fixed an issue where an error could occur when targeting a specific Gimmick during Build Mode.
- Fixed an issue where thumbnails could not be uploaded in the Nintendo Switch version.
- Fixed some incorrect icons on the following screens: Cash Exchange Screen, Storage Box Screen, Gacha Storage Screen, and Personal Box Screen.
- Fixed an issue where, when equipped with a bow or spear, if players attacked with their back against some blocks such as glass, the attack would not go where they intended.
- Fixed the issue where the thumbnail was not set correctly when using the streaming mode to send Build Invites.
A finalized release date for Fireside has been announced. The narrative adventure game from publisher Nordcurrent Labs and developer Emergo Entertainment will be available for Switch digitally for via the Nintendo eShop on June 4th, 2024. FuRyu has teamed up with Square Enix to bring content from NEO: The World Ends With You into their upcoming dark action RPG, REYNATIS. A sub-quest storyline featuring Shoka Sakurane will be included in the game. A Japanese trailer announcing the collaboration has been released, with an English version coming soon. Check out the trailer above and a message from Takumi Isobe, the producer and director of REYNATIS, below. REYNATIS launches for Nintendo Switch on Sept. 27th in the west and July 25th in Japan.

Japanese toy company Sanei Boeki has announced a new plushie in the Kirby “All Star Collection” line. Priced at 2,200円, the swimming Kirby plush of him wearing a snorkel will be released sometime in August 2024. Amazon Japan pre-orders haven’t gone live, but once they do you should be able to order the plushie worldwide here!
