A portion of a GameDaily interview with NPD’s industry analyst Anita Frazier…

BIZ: The Wii continues to be incredible, selling over 2 million. Can you believe it’s selling like this in its third holiday season? Is Nintendo unstoppable?

Frazier: I can believe it because the true demand for the platform has never really been tested because until this last month, retail inventory shortages were prevalent. I think only now are we starting to see what true holiday demand is for the system. I think Nintendo has built incredible brand equity for the platform and you see that paying off in sales of its evergreen and new first-party titles plus you see how well Guitar Hero World Tour did on the platform. It really has incredible momentum heading into 2009.
