Nintendo reconfirms plans to make 'multiple visual content projects'

Nintendo recently held their 83rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, which included a Q&A event. During this event, Shigeru Miyamoto shared some thoughts on Nintendo’s reach to consumers outside of their games, which he used to reconfirm plans for more projects akin to films. 10M agoThey need to rerelease the Kid Icarus Uprising shorts again. I'm glad they put the Pikmin ones up again. They need to release the complete Kirby series outside of Japan etc.

10M agoNintendo is ripe for more movies and shows. They have the robust catalog of properties and fan goodwill that Disney used to have before they decided to self-destruct.
They just need to make sure they're careful about it, and they partner with the right people.
