Lost Words: Beyond the Page 'code-in-box' physical Switch release due out Oct. 18th, 2022

Another Switch game is getting a pseudo-physical release, and it’ll be available through multiple retailers.

Lost Words: Beyond the Page is going to get a boxed launch come October 18th, 2022, but there’s a catch. While this will indeed be available at retail locations, the game itself won’t be physical. This is one of those ‘code-in-box’ releases we’ve talked about in the past, which means you get a physical game box with a download code inside.

As long as you’re okay with that kind of release, you’ll be able to pick this one up on Oct. 18th, 2022 from Limited Run Games, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and Target.

Lost Words: Beyond the Page is a narrative-driven, atmospheric puzzler set inside the pages of a young girl’s diary. Following an immersive story by renowned games writer Rhianna Pratchett, players guide an aspiring author through the wondrous fantasy world of Estoria, where words wield immense power.

In Lost Words: Beyond the Page, players interact with the words themselves to solve challenging puzzles and unique platforming segments to progress through an evolving landscape.
