Even though Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! released decades ago, fans are still plugging away at the game to try and score speedrunning records. After the most recent record stood for over 3 years, a new record has been claimed by speedrunner/YouTuber, Summoning Salt.
Summoning Salt has announced that he’s scored a new speedrunning world record for Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!, beating the game in just 2:00.61. This is the fastest anyone in the world has beaten the game without tool-assists, and it took Summoning Salt over 20k attempts to achieve this record.
