  • hardware sales for this period totaled 15.70 million units (a decrease of 12.6% year-on-year)
  • software sales totaled 199.67 million units (a decrease of 6.7% year-on-year)
  • digital sales reached 443.3 billion yen (an increase of 9.4% year-on-year)
  • mobile and IP related business sales totaled 92.7 billion yen (an increase of 81.6% year-on-year)
  • The Super Mario Bros. Movie reached overall sales reached 1,671.8 billion yen, with sales outside Japan of 1,309.2 billion yen accounting for 78.3% of that total
