Cheese Decor Pikmin coming to Pikmin Bloom

This June, Niantic is welcoming Cheese Decor Pikmin into Pikmin Bloom. The devs recommend checking out the event exclusive costumes too to get your hands on some delicious-looking and fun new garments for your Mii!
Cheese Decor Pikmin will arrive in-game June 1, 2024 and they’ll be hanging around until June 30, 2024. You can read full details on this event below.
Clear Event Challenge missions to obtain seedlings for Cheese Decor Pikmin (7 types in total)
For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain rewards at random. These can be Milk Bottles, seedlings that grow into Cheese Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.
Missions for the event will be published here on the day the event starts – stay tuned!
Seedlings obtained by clearing Event Challenge missions will grow into any of the 7 available types (Red, Blue, Yellow, Rock, Purple, White, or Winged) of Cheese Decor Pikmin. Please note that you’ll meet them at random and are not guaranteed to complete the whole set.

When you purchase a Premium Event Pass, you’ll be able to enjoy the following perks for the duration of the event (June 1st through 30th):
For every stage cleared, you’ll receive extra seasonal nectar that you can put to good use in order to clear event-related tasks!
When you clear the 4th stage, you will receive an additional Gold Seedling for your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, or gray) of Cheese Decor Pikmin. This applies to the 4th stage and any subsequent stages that are a multiple of 4 (8th, 12th, 16th, etc).
- The Event Premium Pass is available to users from Lv20 onwards.
- The Event Premium Pass won’t be displayed to users at or below Lv19.
- Event Premium Pass rewards apply retroactively for cleared Event Challenge missions, regardless of when you obtain it at the shop.

Event Premium Pass purchases within the first week of the event (until June 7th 23:59 local time) will include Milk Bottles as a bonus. Please note the early bird bonus will no longer be available after the first week of the event.
Clear Cheese Event missions to obtain exclusive Mii costumes and seedlings for Cheese Decor Pikmin (7 types in total)!
You’ll receive the Milk Bottle Missions at the beginning of the event.
Milk Bottles can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Mystery Mushrooms, as a bonus with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, from the Event Challenge Special Pack, and as a bonus for the purchase of an event-limited Mii costume.
The seedlings obtained from clearing these missions grow into any of the 7 available types for Cheese Decor Pikmin. Please note that there’s no guarantee that you’ll complete the whole set.
Once the Cheese Event ends, the Milk Bottle missions will disappear. Please note that the Milk Bottles have no purpose outside of this event.
Destroy Mystery Mushrooms to get Mystery Boxes!
During the event, you may encounter Mystery Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Milk Bottles and flower petals, among others. Cheese Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!
Additionally, on weekends, you may encounter Giant Mystery Mushrooms that contain a rare type of Mystery Box as well as fruits guaranteed to contain nectar for seasonal flowers only. On these weekends, the Mushroom Battle Bullhorn will be available for use up to 3 times a day, too! Team up with your friends to destroy some mighty mushrooms together!
Giant Mystery Mushrooms will appear on the following weekends:
- June 8 & 9
- June 15 & 16
- June 22 & 23
- June 29 & 30
During the event, Cheese Decor Pikmin will be slightly stronger than the usual against all types of mushrooms.

Cheese Event exclusive Mii costumes with featuring cheese and mice designs
The shop will be offering an array of exclusive Mii costumes inspired, including cheesy dresses and other items inspired by cute, cheese-loving mice. They all come with Milk Bottles as a bonus, so be sure to check them out! Get your cheesy on this month and twin with your new Decor Pikmin on your walks!

Special Mission Ticket: Cheese
When you purchase this ticket and clear the dedicated mission, you’ll obtain a gold seedling in your desired color (red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink, or gray) of Cheese Decor Pikmin. The mission must be completed by August 31, 2024 at 23:59.
Gold Seedlings obtained from inviting friends and family to play Pikmin Bloom between June 1st and June 30th will grow into any of the 7 available types of Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged or Rock Cheese Decor Pikmin.
