The Boundary Break team sometimes puts aside their desire to see what’s behind the camera in various games in order to compare regional differences between some of our favorite games. That interest has paved the way for a Regional Break series, and the latest installment takes a very deep look at a Nintendo classic.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is no doubt one of the most interesting installments in the storied franchise, and it’s hotly debated to this day. Some people absolutely love everything the game entails, while others find certain themes to be too off-putting, mechanics to be too challenging, and so on. Regardless, decades after its release, it still has people talking!

In today’s Region Break video, we get to see just how different the Majora’s Mask experience is depending on which region version you played. Between the North American and Japanese versions of Majora’s Mask, you might be surprised at just what was cut, tweaked or changed in major ways!
