Ukiyo studio’s first project, Transhumance, a narrative, poetic and contemplative “walking simulator” has been announced for Switch. You can get your first look at this game via the trailer above.
As you guide a flock of ewes, assisted by dogs, along the “drailles” of southern France, you’ll discover many magnificent landscapes. But as time goes by, you’ll also see the ravages that humans have wrought on these ecosystems, and how they have changed in the face of global warming…
Transhumance is a game with shepherds and sheep, but it’s also a strong plea for Nature!
Ukiyo studio have the ambition to create original video games, on PC and consoles, combining innovative gameplay and modern aesthetics, conveying various values, particularly around cultural and environmental issues.
