Ubisoft unveils Ubiworld, the new online destination site for Imagine, Petz, and Style Lab brands

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - OCTOBER 19, 2009 - Today, Ubisoft announced that UbiWorld, the first games-for-girls portal dedicated solely to Imagine®, Petz® and Style Lab(TM) brands is now live http://ubiworld.com. The brand new website serves as the online extension for Imagine, Petz and Style Lab video games, which are all available on Nintendo DSi(TM) and Nintendo DS(TM) systems. The free website is designed specifically for tween girls as a place where they can explore and interact with the UbiWorld characters and pets, create their own stylish avatar, play mini-games, discover exclusive in-game content and learn more about upcoming game launches.

UbiWorld will allow tween girls to sign up for an account and create an avatar that can travel on a scooter to four different islands. An online “communicator” (a personal digital assistant) will be given to each member to check her current stats, find out about new island residents and search for friends to add in their neighborhood. Each avatar will live in a house that can be decorated with specialty items that are “bought” with points earned on the website. The more time spent exploring each island and playing the mini-games on UbiWorld, the more points members will be awarded to buy clothing and accessories to dress up their avatars and items to decorate their homes with.

The Style Lab Island will feature an exclusive Style Squad clubhouse for UbiWorld members. UbiWorld members who join Style Squad will receive additional “members only” information for Style Lab Makeover and Style Lab Jewelry Design games, including secret in-game codes that unlock hidden items. The Petz Island will feature an adoption center that allows members to adopt and own a pet dog or cat in UbiWorld. Members can learn more about upcoming Petz news and events by visiting Petz Island. On Imagine Island, members can explore each house designed with specific themes from various Imagine games and interact with a UbiWorld character to find information on all released and upcoming Imagine games.
