The Legend of Zelda: The Disappearing GameRankings score

Man, I don’t know how you guys do it…but you do. A lot of you have been keeping an ever-watchful eye over the best-reviewed titles of all time, which is listed over at GameRankings. GTA IV has knocked Ocarina of Time down into third place. Earlier today, a lower review for GTA IV let Ocarina of Time recapture the top spot. That’s when the trouble started.

Somehow…multiple years after Ocarina of Time was released, the title lost a review score source. That disappearing review score knocked Ocarina back down to third place. Isn’t it a bit odd that a review source just up and disappeared?

GTA IV, OoT, I am not here to argue which is the better game. What bothers me is what looks to be review tampering. Hopefully, GameRankings will offer up an explanation very soon. Huge thanks to the bunch of you that sent this in!
