Wii plays key role in Ubisoft sales increase, expect more Shaun White, preparation for next set of consoles in the next few years

Some details from Ubisoft’s financial report…

- 14 percent sales increase for fiscal 2008
- “a continued strong showing” for Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party and Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip
- Ubisoft’s fourth quarter sales: $292.52 million
- full year result: $1.5 billion
- Petz and Imagine series both sold over a million
- Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party saw sales 50% higher than the previous installment
- 1,300 employees added over the last year
- “Our goal is to internalize more and more of the development of our projects to better control development processes and quality, so we will have less third party and more internal projects.” - Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot

- Ubisoft has a ’soon to be announced’ title that will ship this holiday season
- Ubisoft also has an unnamed sports title in the works
