Two big rumors pair Nintendo with Disney for a project, Nintendo with Amazon for mobile games

These rumors come from the same source that accurately nailed the Wave 3 amiibo info, as well as Nintendo characters being in Skylanders.

RUMOR #1

Nintendo & Disney have negotiated a deal for films, video games and interactive toys/merchandise

- amiibo are not included in Disney Infinity 3.0 because both companies are yet to set an agreement
- Disney wanted to have Mario figurine in Disney Infinity, but Nintendo hasn't made a deal yet
- Mario could star in Disney films, such as Wreck-It Ralph 2
- Disney wants a game where Mario and Mickey meet up
- Nintendo is open to the idea, but want to set their own pace for it

RUMOR #2

Nintendo mobile games will hit the Amazon App Store

- Nintendo will offer their mobile games through Amazon App Store
- Amazon approached Nintendo about the deal
- Nintendo asked Amazon about Amazon TV game
- people at Amazon think that there is something related to Android going on
- Nintendo is moving some of their data out of Amazon Cloud Servers to DeNA ones

Mario and Mickey would be a really cool crossover in an Epic Mickey/Super Galaxy style 3-D platformer. As for animation/film, I'd like to see them do something with DreamWorks rather.
Amazon is so big now, thus why they're so approachable. Imagine they were to run Fire OS on the NX, haha. (please don't)

Let's hope their apps hit the App Store too since Amazon doesn't deal much with iOS like they do with android Sad

Well obviously Nintendo is going to release their games on all platforms, no sane company would make an amazon exclusive app, unless they got paid a ton of money to do it.They have the smallest piece of the mobile market.

Amazon devices run on android, so it makes sense that amazon apps hit android more often.

While I only have Android devices Nintendo would be stupid to not get all of their mobile games/apps on IOS.

Nintendo movies would be absolutely amazing. Imagen Pixar making a Mario movie.

Pixar will always want to work on their own licenses, and have the autonomy to ensure that'. They're not in the adaptation game. Disney proper might, though.

I know. But let me dream, will ya? You're so mean, Shaany. :c

The creators of Wreck-It Ralph could probably make a good one.

I ONLY EXIST TO WATCH YOUR DREAMS SHATTER

You will perish in a pile of graphic Ganondorf yaoi for your sins. :D

On topic, though, not sure what to make of this rumor.

I now have the mental image of Mario with John Ratzenbergers voice! :P

I kind of doubt both rumors, because Nintendo has already begun working with Universal Studios and DeNA.

yeah, it sounds like a rumor made months ago before those deals became public.

I'd love to see Mickey Mouse in Smash, with his moveset pulling from his video game history. An egg basket from his first ever video game appearance on the Game & Watch, butt stomp from Castle of Illusion, spin grab from Magical Quest, paintbrush from Epic Mickey, and his keyblade from Kingdom Hearts.

Of any non-video game character to be in Smash, he would be it. His history with video games and history with Nintendo, not to mention his iconic status rivaling Mario's, would make him the perfect choice.

Though Mario in Wreck-it Ralph 2 (if it's happening) would be awesome as well.

Mickey Mouse in Smash actually does sound kinda whimsical. It might happen, assuming characters that didn't start out in a game are eligible. It'd be neat to have Sonic and Mickey, 2 of Mario's biggest rivals, in the same game taking on Mario as well.

Disney and Nintendo working on something? As long as they are not buying each other then I'm good.

The people behind Wreck it Ralph did say that if a sequel were to be made, it'd have Mario in it, so at least that part seems accurate.

"Hopefully, the day Mario meets Mickey Mouse is not that far away," Disney Interactive vice president of production John Vignocchi said in an interview.

I'd be just fine with a Mario/Mickey project.

How about not limit it to Mario and Mickey? Just make it like Kingdom Hearts, except instead of SquareEnix and Disney, it is Nintendo and Disney. And then maybe just call it Captain N?

Mario in Wreck-It-Ralph 2 is gonna be amazing.

"Nintendo is open to the idea, but want to set their own pace for it"

Oh man, here we go again. SMH

A Mario x Mickey crossover game, if done in a similar style to a largely refined Epic Mickey, could be amazing. Especially if they went full on Nintendo x Disney.

Nintendough and Di$ney pairing up.

Terrible idea. For both parties. There's no way they'll make the easiest money ever out of that. Uh-uh.

I'm all for a Nintendo and Disney collaboration as long as it doesn't end up being "Nintendo: The Musical".

More like "Nintendo on Ice!" XD

As long as it's appropriate for Mario like he's not out of place or completely talking I don't mind any film collaborations with Disney, but I really do not want Mickey anywhere near a Mario game. As far as I'm concerned Sonic has dibs for crossing over in any main action game as well as any other spin-offs (unless there's another with Final Fantasy). Even if that's not for you, completely new IP highly relevant to gaming like Yooka-Laylee actually makes sense with Mario than just saying "better Epic Mickey" or "Kingdom Hearts" crossing over somehow. Mario on mobile is going to be enough of a jump, giving people the impression he's on equal gaming grounds with a mainly non-gaming character is too far.

I wouldn't mind a collaboration between Disney and Ninty. They can pretty much do anything from a platformer, sim game, RPG, and so on. It'll be interesting to see what comes out of it... assuming it's true of course.
