I'm trying not to be negative, but how is local multiplayer really any different than 4 people playing on the same TV, other than it being portable?

If they want any chance of this selling even half decently it better be priced competitively. There's absolutely no reason to buy this for switch if you have it on any other console that's had it for the last few years.

i think the wiiu version still the best, you can play with 5 players....5....the chaos write itself...ubisfot plz just make a 3d rayman platform already

I hope you can use a joycon as a pointer so you can do the touch controls while docked. With how Skyward Sword used WiiMotion Plus, the joycons have enough fidelity to use pointer controls without an ir camera.

I'll be bitterly disappointed if the joycon doesn't have an IR pointer.

But it doesn't. It has an IR Motion Camera, but that's different. If it'll have pointing capabilities, it'll be like Skyward Sword instead of through an IR pointer

hopefully its delayed next week to wait until the Xbox Scorpio is released ;/

This is the title that I can't make any sense out of. How do they expect this to do even kind of well?

Maybe they should wait until the Xbox Scorpio comes out.

It's a good game, the only problem is that is one game that is available almost everywhere and it's not like fifa or minecraft that sell really good on every platform and until now every "new" thing that they said is already available on the WiiU, but it's a good game to be available for someone who didn't play it elsewhere.

Literally none of this is new.

First switch game to support the touch screen

That skylanders game for the Switch also supports touch..

I'm probably the minority...but I've held off from purchasing this for this long, that I'm pretty sure the Switch will be the reason I give it a shot finally. I'll be purchasing.

I recall that when Rayman Legends came out, that despite being a "disappointment," it sold best on Wii U. If so, it's not totally illogical for Ubisoft to go "Nintendo gamers seem to like these colorful platformers!" and release a Switch version. The hole in that logic being that many Nintendo owners already did buy the Wii U version. That said, I'm sure it wasn't difficult to port (assuming this is from the Xbox One/PS4 build) and so I could imagine this being a low-risk/low-gain proposition for Ubisoft.

As an aside, great game. Not as good as Origins, but still great.
