Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS announcer provides a voice for Puyo Puyo Tetris

Here's a neat bit of information for you. The voice of the Dark Prince in Puyo Puyo Tetris is none other than Xander Mobus, the Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS announcer. For some reason, he's left off the credits of the game! I definitely think it's important for fans to know this tidbit! Thanks to AlienboyVA for the heads up.

"Xander Mobus". That's a superhero secret identity if I ever heard one.

He may claim it is his true name, but we know better :P

He also does a voice in Disgaea 5

I love the voice acting in this game. Everything is so silly and non-serious, makes me want to check back older editions in the (original) Puyo Puyo franchise. I loved Bean Machine.

I honestly wish they'd get the announcer from Melee back, or someone similar. I honestly don't like the announcer from Brawl or Wii U/3DS, he doesn't sound serious enough. The announcer from Melee knew how to make the game sound exciting, but the new one doesn't seem to have any emotion in the way he announces things, not to mention how much slower he is. There was so much energy in Melee's announcer... The current announcer even sounds like he's questioning the roster at times, instead of actually announcing their names.
