Switch online app - Your phone screen must be on the entire time you use the app

The following blurb comes from a Eurogamer feature...

You'll also need your phone screen on for that voice chat to remain connected.

I wasn't down on the idea of using a smartphone app to do voice chat. It didn't bother me one bit. Now that we've learned you get disconnected if you use any other aspect of your phone while chatting, and you'll also need to have the screen on the entire time, I'm feeling a bit more negative about the entire setup. I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to most things, but even I can admit this seems quite shortsighted.
