GN Version 5.0

As we heard the other day, Nintendo is dedicated to making sure the Switch has a steady stream of content for it. They've done a great job with the first year, and the plan is to keep that going from here on out. Nintendo's Yoshiaki Koizumi drove that point home in a Famitsu interview.

Famitsu: Do you think there are Nintendo Switch users who worry about next year’s software lineup? Given that in just 2017 Nintendo has released hit titles featuring The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario, as well as games featuring “boom IP” such as Splatoon.

Koizumi: Nintendo still has many IPs at its disposal. Not only can our customers expect Nintendo’s traditional IP, but even new IP that people would have never dreamed of. We’re working and preparing our new IP, which players can expect to see in 2018, 2019, and the future. As we are making something that will pierce the hearts of everyone, I hope you will look forward to it.
