Switch firmware 4.0.1 causes a hiccup with the GameCube controller adapter support, but doesn't remove it
You know that firmware update Nintendo put out earlier today for the Switch? Turns out the update will mess things up when it comes to the GameCube controller adapter. There's some good news, though. The update doesn't permanently disable the feature. It seems that when the update is applied, the controller adapter is no longer detected. All you have to do is re-detect, and the adapter starts working once again.
