Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon/Sun/Moon - Rating Battle Season 8 is underway

Rating Battle Season 8 is starting up, with fresh opportunities to measure your Pokémon battling skills online against players around the world. The Rating Battle leaderboards reset at the beginning of each season so everyone can start on equal footing. As you battle, you’ll move up and down the rankings based on your match outcomes. Rating Battle Season 8 starts on January 23, 2018 at 0:00 (UTC), so get ready for fun battles and new challenges.

Rating Battles are available in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, and Pokémon Moon, but please note that Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon battles, and Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon battles, will be ranked separately. Also, Pokémon and moves introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon may not be used in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Rating Battles.

The Special format for this season will be played using Single Battles. You may include any Pokémon from the National Pokédex, but only one Legendary or Mythical Pokémon will be permitted on your team. Pokémon brought in from previous games via Poké Transporter will be permitted.

Remember that you’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account and your own copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon registered at the Pokémon Global Link to participate.
