Why should the visual aesthetic determine how much a game should cost? That’s dangerous and silly. A lot of these indie games are made by small teams (sometimes even 1 or 2 people), so the developers deserve a return on their hard work and dedication if their game turns out good. Owlboy was in development for like 10 years before finally coming to consoles.

I think games like Thumper, Celeste, Night in the Woods, etc. are all worthy of support.

My God!! Loved that music!!

Art style reminds me of Golden Sun ❤️

Hmm... looks and sounds pretty... what is this, a Metroidvania game?

Nice trailer. Waiting for the retail release, which is going to be difficult.

Disgusted with how it's seems to be acceptable to release a 16bit indie game so close to £20. Regardless of how fun or critically acclaimed it may be, games like this ought to be capped at the £15 mark.

Not me but I suppose to has more to do with the overall interest than the visual direction. I mean I thought Sonic was great for 20. It's good for me though cause I don't want to keep buying anymore games. I don't have much money left haha.

Have you seen the game? Just because it's pixel art does not mean it's easy to make. Especially pixel art as highly detailed as this. Not even the critically acclaimed Celeste has pixel art as well made as this. Most indie games don't. I haven't played Owlboy, so I don't know how great it is from my personal view, but reviews suggest it's a great game. I don't understand this meme that just because it isn't a 3D game made with an AAA budget that it's worthless. Owlboy seems to be better than many AAA 3D games.

If sidescrollers aren't your cup of tea or you're not a fan of ~16-bit art, fine, but saying that a well-made game should just be capped at some low price range, while at the same time being perfectly fine with games with other aesthetics costing more is bizarre to say the least.
