Ubisoft says they'll be doing more things with Switch in the future

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot was recently fielding questions on an investor Q&A following a financial report, and during which the Switch was brought up. Mr. Guillemot was quick to point out that more support is coming, but didn't mention specifics.

“So yes, this relationship continues to grow, and we are very happy with what we were able to achieve with Mario + Rabbids. Let’s also not forget the fact that Just Dance is also a big seller on the Switch, and that will continue to follow the growth of that machine. And yes in the future we are going to do more things – we just can’t go over that right now.”

Beyond Good and Evil 2 on Switch.

Once I see Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell, South Park, or Beyond Good & Evil 2 on Switch then I'll start to believe you Ubisoft.

South park is a lock. We need all the last gen AC ports that have released at the minimum. I really hope they're considering bringing The Crew 2.

I don't think they will bring any of their big ps4 titles or even licences for that matter. As much as I really want a new Black Flag, I don't think they will do it.

South Park is definitely a possibility though. I'd love to see BG&E but seeing how it's apparently going to be another typical ubi open world, I'm not sure they have switch in mind. I'm not sure I want it either from what we've heard about the title tbh.

I could see them developing other collaborations though and I could see exclusives such as a Rayman 4 for example.

As much as I would like to see more support in the vein of assassin's creed and the like, it's really just gonna be more just dance and the like.

Rayman 4? Rayman 4.

Seriously though, I feel like they got that message since the Switch marketing sample they did last year. Literally every discussion they had about what Ubisoft can bring was unanimous to Rayman 4 being the first and foremost example.

That and the Ubi Art engine used for something non-Rayman.

If Rayman 4 returns to the style of Rayman 2, I'd be all over that. (I wasn't a huge fan of Rayman 3)

I can agree, but I do find a fondness of the Hoodlums.

The market sample also discussed among themselves about using the Ubi Art engine outside Rayman, cause they felt he got "locked in" to the engine to promote it. They love the game, but want to see both Rayman and the engine expand seperately.

No one here mentioned Steep. Remember that that was announced for Switch? I think it's been cancelled, personally.

Still in development.. Optimisation not yet at the point of satisfaction probably..

How about Rayman x Kirby?
