If I could advise one game for people to buy from the list of games released on Switch this week,, it would be Toki Tori 2. It is a truly brilliant game. It's a 10/10 for me. I'm sorry that Two Tribes are disbanding, they didn't get the success that their talent deserved.

On the other hand, however, if I could advise one game to avoid, it is definitely Superola and the Lost Burgers. Awful, absolute stinker. Read some reviews to get an idea of just how bad it is. I read a review from a Nintendo website a couple of hours ago that gave it 1/10.

Thanks for the suggestions! That is said about Two Tribes shutting down. Didn't they release Toki Tori 2+ for the 3DS at some point (or was it the OG DS?) for DsIWare? Anyway, that does sound appealing and your review will definitely lead me to check it out.

I have to say, your comment on 'Superola and the Lost Burgers' had me instantly Googling the game: anything *that* bad needs to be examined hahaha. Thanks again.

You know, I'd seen some screenshots for it, but I passed them up because I figured this game wasn't my thing...

But now I find myself wondering, just what the hell IS Ace of Seafood?

I meant to leave you a reply but must have just clicked general comment, so you can look down below if you are interested. You've got a point!

Rating: 1 (Updated 2 times)

This was supposed to be a reply to Freezair, but yeah, what's up with that title? It is so enigmatic and weird it demands to be checked out. I love how the ease of Switch development is seeing so many indies step up with off the wall game ideas. Maybe that's not the cause, because a lot of these games are on Steam, too. But "Battle Chef Brigade?" A cooking game combining connect-three color puzzling with hardcore hack and slash action? The second part of that sentence is interesting enough, but again: a *cooking* game that does that.

UPDATE: Okay, Freezair: I don't know if you've checked out 'Ace of Seafood' already after finding the title amusing, but I just read the game description on Nintendo.com and it's a billion times weirder than you would think from the title, which is already quite weird. Hahaha. Love these off-the-wall games.

Honestly, I just might. Because holy crap, this looks weird. And I looooves me some weird.

It vaguely reminds me of a HELLA obscure PS2 game called Finny the Fish and the Seven Waters. Which, like all good super-obscure games, had a pretty excellent soundtrack.

Oh man, out of upvotes but your comment makes me happy. Haha Thanks for bringing my attention to this game.

Finny the Fish? I'm going to have to YouTube the soundtrack now, you know that right? Haha you're full of good ideas. This is a great community.

My favorite song in the game. It's a good starting point. :D

Oh, that's nice! Keeps going in unexpected directions.
