Secret of Mana 3 producer knows fans want an English version, considering how to make that happen

Siliconera: While Secret of Mana is a classic, I think many Mana fans are eagerly awaiting an English version of Seiken Densetsu 3. It’s a great game with different story routes and a cool character upgrade system. If you had a chance to work on this would you prefer to do a remake like Secret of Mana or release the original version like Romancing SaGa 2?

Masaru Oyamada, Producer: No matter which I choose it will be quite difficult, as the title is very large in terms of volume. I understand the comments about wanting to play it as-is in the original pixel format, but I also feel that if we were to resolve the complaints and frustrations from the original, it might be a smoother transition into the future if we remade the game like we did this time. If I had the bandwidth, I would love to go in both directions. But in any case, I will do my best to meet the expectations of those who are waiting.
