Nintendo grabs a set of trademarks for Nintendo Labo in China

Nintendo has interest in moving into China with their products, but they've said doing so would require help from a number of other companies. If that's the case, why is Nintendo grabbing trademarks for Nintendo Labo in China? This is most likely done as a way to protect the game's name and idea, so that other companies don't try to steal or profit off the upcoming products. All in all, Nintendo filed for 3 separate Nintendo Labo trademarks.
