Indivisible dev shares insight into the game's delay and struggles

GN Version 5.0

A delay for Indivisible was just revealed via a dev blog last week. Wondering what's up with the game and why the team needs more time? Indivisible lead designer Mike Z shared some details on the podcast linked above. You can read a summary of info below.

- will likely release in mid-2019
- Lab Zero isn’t familiar with submitting a game to Nintendo, which adds to the complications
- the game engine is new to Switch, as well as physical version production factors
- new lead level designer is Matthew Kumar
- new lead writer is Brandon Sheffield
- the game ended up being bigger in terms of story scope than they thought it would be,
- more people were needed to focus on each particular aspect of the game
- finding the right ‘voice’ for Ajna in terms of dialogue was very tough
