Street Fighter almost saw a release on the NES
Here's something I guarantee you've never seen before. Street Fighter 1...on the NES! This screenshot was buried deep in a Capcom marketing archive, undiscovered for decades. Here's an interesting tidbit from the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Believe it or not, the very first Street Fighter game almost saw release on the NES. Above is the only known screenshot of the project, which eventually ended up cancelled. I wonder if the NES version would have turned out better than the source game!
