Hacking group Team Xecuter comes under fire for open source code in their Switch OS

GN Version 5.0

Team Xecuter is in a double-dose of hot water today. First they caught flack for suggesting people not pirate their software that allows piracy, and now their SX OS has been sifted through, and an interesting bit of code was discovered.

Turns out the project uses code from from open source project Atmosphere, another homebrew OS in the works for Switch. While the code is open source, it uses a GPL v2 license. This license states that anyone who plans to use any part of their code must make their project open source. With SX OS there is indeed a free download, but the SX OS itself isn't open to the public.
