Bethesda says millions of people are still playing Skyrim, which is why they keep releasing ports

Skyrim has received a ton of ports, including one for the Switch. Quite a few people have accused Bethesda of milking the game, but Bethesda's Todd Howard has a perfectly good reason for why the ports keep happening.

"Even now, the amount of people who play Skyrim seven years later; millions of people every month are playing that game. That's why we keep releasing it. If you want us to stop releasing it, stop buying it."

Looks like the amount of people complaining about the ports are far less than those who are scooping the re-releases up. I guess we can expect Skyrim to keep getting some attention from Bethesda for years to come!
