SCENE: OFFICE INTERIOR
"...so then this ghost I killed named Phantoon randomly shows up to hassle me. Only this time he's a big fat guy — like ORCA fat. Anyway I kill him again. Then I grab the... helmet? and the place explodes."
Thus the bounty hunter concludes her story.
The doctor who listened to it all sips coffee and leisurely leans back in a swivel chair. "That's quite a tale."
Samus shifts in her own chair and asks hopefully "I've told you everything. Can I leave now?"
The doctor thinks it over for a moment and nods. "Okay I'm clearing you for release. You're good to go."
As Samus departs and closes the office door the doctor takes another sip of coffee and idly turns around to absentmindedly glance at the pinboard hanging on the wall. The coffee falls to the floor and the container shatters into pieces.
On the whiteboard is a picture of Anthony Mackie. Next to it is a painting of the higgs boson and next to that is a limited edition poster of the Capcom game Remember Me that the doctor had had autographed by the developers.
Over to the side is a football magazine with the doctor's favourite athlete David Beckham on the cover. Beneath the magazine sits a Deleter brand nib pen specially imported from Japan.
The doctor glances down at the employee photo ID badge she is wearing next to her lapel. On it is her name: Dr. Madeline-Melissa Bergman PhD.
Doctor Bergman's eyes are finally drawn to the jagged remains of the "World's Greatest MOM" ceramic bottle of coffee she had just dropped. Printed on a tag stuck to the piece that used to be the bottom is a trademark for a company called "Bottle Shipping LLC".
With a dawn of comprehension Doctor Bergman leaps to her feet and rushes out of her office and into the street to catch Samus but she's already gone.
