Details on hardware sales in Japan for first-half 2018, Switch moves 1.12 million units, Switch software sales see big increase
The following data comes from Famitsu, and pertains to the first 6 months of 2018 in Japan...
- overall hardware units sold was 89.1% of the same period last year
- Switch is up by 9.9%
- Switch sells 1.12m units, up from 1.02m units last year
- combined sales of 3DS SKUs were 43% of last year
- Switch software sales rose by 162 per cent to hit ¥25,323m (£172m)
- the software market as a whole was up by 11.4% from H1 2017
