Conflicting reports may give hope for physical version of Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun in Europe

Just yesterday, we heard from Bandai Namco that Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun wouldn't be getting a retail release in the West. The game would be digital only, and there were no plans for the HORI drum to see release outside of Japan either. Today it appears there's a different story.

Bandai Namco Spain has said the complete opposite about Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun. According to a Bandai Namco Spain rep, the game will indeed see a physical release in Spain, and specific details on the various editions will be shared later. One would think that this physical release for Spain would also be good news for the rest of Europe. Perhaps Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun is going physical in Europe, but North America is a different story.
