GN Version 5.0

As we shared recently, over 1,400 developers have showed interest in bringing their games to Switch, thanks to GameMaker Studio 2 support. That's a whole lot of titles that could be potentially heading to the platform! Just how long does it take a developer to get their game running on Switch? According to YoYo Games' James Cox, not very long at all.

It’s very quick. We heard of people having their games running within a couple of hours of being approved.

Obviously there will need to be tweaks and adjustments from that point, but just to see the game up-and-running that quickly is pretty damn impressive!
