As with most characters during the design process, Pearl and Marina from Splatoon 2 had quite a different look early on. This look was shown via a sketch in the official Splatoon 2 artbook. Now artist Chris Szczesiul has taken that sketch and worked it up into a full visual. Definitely very different, but still pretty damn great!
