The Pokemon TCG's latest expansion set in Japan is selling out

Looks like the Pokemon TCG is doing pretty damn well for itself in Japan. The Pokemon Co. just released the Super-Burst Impact expansion set, and it was greeted with long lines and sellouts at various stores. The Pokemon TCG has been growing in popularity in the last year, and it seems things are getting to the next level of popularity now.

The normal price for the Super-Burst Impact set is 4,860 yen ($44), but card shops are buying sets back for 5,000 yen ($45). Furthermore, resellers are asking for 6,000 to 7,000 yen ($54 to $63) for the sets on auction sites. Let's hope Pokemon Co. can get some more sets out to shore shelves soon.
