Nintendo sees their brand recognition rise in the UK, according to Brand Relevance Index survey

Prophet's Brand Relevance Index for 2018 has been released, revealing the most-relevant brands in the UK. The results come from a poll of 11,500 consumers in the UK about 240 brands across 27 categories.

The Playstation brand came in highest overall, taking the third spot. That was followed by Nintendo in eleventh place. Nintendo has actually moved up two spots since last year, which is no doubt thanks to the success of the Switch. For those wondering, the Xbox brand came in at 17, which is 6 spots lower than last year.

Wondering what the case is in the states? We would love to tell you, but there's no data to share! Even though the US results have been shared, Nintendo was not listed at all. This either means absolutely no one knows what Nintendo is in the states, or for some reason, they weren't included in the list. Both Playstation and Xbox were included.
