Dear Reader:
Unconfirmed reports say Telltale still looking to release The Walking Dead: The Final Season's Ep. 3 and 4, working with another company to make it happen
No one really knows what's up with Telltale at this point. Will projects like The Walking Dead: The Final Season see release? Will they be moved over to other companies? While Telltale isn't talking, Kotaku has info from two people familiar with the negotiations. Here's all that they would share.
- Telltale is working on a deal that would allow for The Walking Dead: The Final Season's third and fourth episodes to be made
- this would involve another company that is populated with some former Telltale employees
- this other company would be hiring some former Telltale staff to continue the series' development
- episode three of The Walking Dead’s final season is essentially finished, and just needed a couple weeks of polish
- the first round of voice work for the main characters of Episode 4 has already been done
- the first review of a playable version of Episode 4 was planned for sometime around the end of September
- episode three was originally planned to release on November 16, and episode four on December 18.
