Switch officially outsells GameCube's total sales
The GameCube sold 21.74 million units throughout its entire life. Not the worst Nintendo system as far as sales go, but definitely not good. Now let's compare that to the Switch, which has been on the market for 19 months now. In that time, the Switch has sold 22.86 million units. Yes, the Switch really is kicking that much butt. Next target is the N64, which hit just shy of 33 million sold in its lifetime.
