Multiple Japanese retailers may be sold out of their Piranha Plant amiibo preorder stock
It looks like the Piranha Plant amiibo could be quite a big hit in Japan. While Japanese retailers still have preorders opened for various amiibo, that's not the case with the Piranha Plant. Retailers such as Amazon Japan, Yodobashi Camera, Rakuten Books, AmiAmi, HMV, and more have closed their preorders for the amiibo. Unless there's something weird going on, it seems the Piranha Plant is in high demand!
